The Chartered Institute of Professional Financial Managers CIPFM is a membership organisation established to promote the practice of financial management. The Institute offers opportunity for members to engage and provide solutions to our ever challenging financial environment.

CIPFM believes sound professionalism and ethical values are the bedrock for any sound financial system. CIPFM has built a network of affiliations and partnership. Affiliate
This grade of membership is for students and those with interest in the field of finance, those who lack the basic requirements for the professional grades. This grade of membership is also suitable for those in other fields.
Associate Fellow Chartered Financial Manager (AFCFM)
This membership grade is for Affiliate members that have spent not less than three years as affiliate. Candidates with less than ten years’ experience with appropriate diploma can apply to be an Associate.Benefits of Joining
This membership grade is offered to early career professionals and they are entitled to use post-nominal letters – AFCFM. Membership in CIPFM suggests great success and professional achievement with global recognition.

Fellow Chartered Financial Manager (FCFM)
This grade of membership is for those in leadership and decision makers. They are usually Chief Financial officers and managing Directors and other heads of dept. They are expected to show evidence of their skills and professional worth.Benefits of Joining

This grade of membership is the most senior grade of membership both for senior academic and Industry professionals.
Applicants for this grade should possess at least postgraduate degree.
The Doctoral fellowship membership grade can be attained after 3 years on the fellowship grade. Chartered Fellows can apply for this grade.
Senior academic with relevant fields can also apply for this membership grade.
